1 · CollectScheduled scrapers and agency feeds gather public records from crescentcity.org, Del Norte County, the Harbor, alert APIs, and meeting video channels. Every fetch is recorded with its source URL, check time, and operational state.
2 · VerifySource health checks classify each feed as healthy, empty, unavailable, or stale. Unavailable sources are never converted into calm results; an empty feed means the check succeeded but found nothing.
3 · Summarize & tagLocal language models write short summaries and tags over collected material only. They are labeled with their provider and model, and you are always told to verify against the linked source.
4 · ExportThe atomic exporter builds this static artifact from one immutable snapshot envelope. Counts below are injected at export time from that exact manifest, so this page cannot drift from data/snapshot.json.
What the models do not do: they do not invent events, quotes, numbers, or dates. Facts always come from sources; anything unverifiable is dropped, never guessed. Chat history, request logs, vector indexes, credentials, and Triplicate article content are excluded from every public export.

Where do the facts come from?
Every fact is taken from a cited public source such as crescentcity.org, Del Norte County, the Crescent City Harbor, agency alert feeds, and official meeting videos. Each item keeps its source URL so you can read the original record.
Does AI write the content?
Local language models only summarize and tag material that was already collected from sources. They do not invent facts; anything unverifiable from a cited source is dropped rather than published.
How current is this snapshot?
The snapshot is regenerated on schedule and carries its generation timestamp at the top of the page. Source health states show when each feed was last checked successfully.
How can I subscribe to community events?
Use the Subscribe button in the Community Calendar section to add the events calendar to any calendar app that supports the iCalendar format. A downloadable events JSON file is also provided.
Is the municipal code official?
The code export is derived from the published eCode360 edition of the Crescent City Municipal Code and links back to the source. For legal decisions always consult the official published code directly.

The Subscribe · .ics link downloads an iCalendar file of the community calendar. One-time setup, then your calendar app keeps the entries:
Google Calendar: open Settings → Add calendar → From URL, paste https://quadruplicate.org/data/events.ics, and save. Google re-checks the file periodically.
Apple Calendar (macOS/iOS): open File → New Calendar Subscription (or Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Subscribe to Calendar on iOS), paste the same URL, and confirm.
Other apps: any client that supports “subscribe to calendar by URL” works with the same address; the direct file download is a fallback for one-time imports.
